Our training can be customised to meet the specific needs of a particular financial institution. In such situations,the college makes use of the client’s internal manuals and policy documents to ensure trainees acquire immediate usable knowledge and skills which are in sync with internal practices and culture.
There are also scheduled training programmes which are run on the college’s academically conducive premises located at the Airport Residential Area of Accra where employees from Ghana and elsewhere in the sub-region can interact with colleagues from other institutions and cultures to enrich their own experiences.
Objectives of Our programmes
The primary objective of all our training programmes is to acquire knowledge-based practical results. To achieve this, various instructional methods are used including lectures, case studies, role-playing, participant-led discussions, audio-visual presentations and seminars, a site visit to relevant institutions, among others.
Being the apex human capacity building institution in the Financial Services Sector in Ghana, we provide solutions to the needs of our numerous members and non-member clients through open enrolment or customised in-house training interventions.

These are annual programmes organised for our member banks. Attendance is open to non-members at a fee. Annually, industry risks are assessed, and programmes are designed and delivered along our facullty lines

Commercial programmes/Open Training programmes
NBC Training delivers open enrollment training interventions in core operational areas. NBC’s open training programmes are training which cuts across the staff of regulators in the financial services sector, operators in the financial services sector, manufacturing, real, telecommunications, oil and gas sectors of the economy.
Customised programmes/On-demand programmes
With the objective of providing best in class training programmes, NBC partners with clients to design and deliver tailor-made training programmes aligned to the needs of our members and clients in the banking and financial sector. Our offers of programmes include technical, professional and leadership trainings.
