One of the College’s mandates and objectives is to provide research to the financial services sector. As a result, the National Bannking College has a keen interest in promoting applied research in the areas of applied economics, banking, finance and other related area as well as enterprise development.Advances in these fields are relevant to the needs of the financial sector in Ghana and the West Africa sub-region. With growing competition, the financial services sector is faced with strategic choices with implications for the long-term viability of the respective institutions.

Research activities will continue to be key to developing a body of knowledge that will be of timely used to support the development of our materials and provide the industry with insight on risk areas impacting us locally.

Our Publications from research outcomes and articles are aimed at contributing to the advancement of knowledge directly related to the theory and practice of banking and finance, particularly in an emerging economy. The primary goal is to disseminate the results of scholarly activities to a broader audience consisting of academic faculty and bankers, business executives, consultants, development specialist and governmental managers.The publications will continue to be a means to disseminate the latest information and findings of both the academic and business communities, and to act as a bridge between them.
