Welcome to Our Library

Acknowledging the importance of library resources, NBC has instituted a library policy aimed at developing and transforming the library to a modern learning resource center that effectively serves the educational, training and research processes in the college. Hence, the objective of the library, as defined by NBC is to collect, organise and facilitate the use of information.

Viewing the library as a nucleus for the training and educational process at the College, NBC is committed to equipping the library with a comprehensive set of resources including books, periodicals, references, video tapes, CD-ROMs and electronic databases. In addition to this, the college facilitates round the clock access to library assistants and content for all students and faculty.

Mission & Vision

The mission of NBC’s library is

to create a conductive environment dedicated to excellence, equity, respect for user and to provide faculty, staff, banking and all financial stakeholders the best possible resources for training, teaching, learning and research .It also to collaborates with sister institutions, support training and create an information hub for the financial service industry in Ghana and Africa.

The Vision of the Library is

to be the “heart” of the academic and research culture of the National Banking College and to contribute to the intellectual activities of the College.

Goals & Objectives

To provide the library users with accurate and timely information that supports the college programmes.
To assist both faculty members and patrons on an efficient and effective way of accessing information from the library.
To provide a serene environment for learning, research and reading.
To be able to provide users with information in any format that supports the college curriculum
To forge a strong bond with sister libraries in Ghana and around the world to be abreast with modernity.
To identify materials, catalog, store, preserve and ensure easy recovery and access to materials.
