John Donkoh
Head - Finance
John Donkoh is the Finance Manager of the National Banking College (NBC) and the head of the Finance Department. He reports directly to the Principal of the College. Prior to taking up the appointment as the Finance Manager, John was the Internal Auditor of the College from 2016 to 2017.
John is a graduate of the University of Cape Coast where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He is also a proud alumnus of Prempeh College (Amanfoo).
He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of tthe Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG). He also holds an Executive MBA in Project Management from the University of Ghana Business School.
John’s career began at PKF Ghana from 2002 to 2011. He rose through the ranks from Audit Trainee to Audit Manager. As an Audit Manager, John led and managed teams of various sizes and reported directly to the Engagement Partner.
John worked at Abzu Resources Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of Abzu Resources Canada, as the head of Finance from 2012 to 2015 prior to joining NBC. John reported directly to the Managing Director in Ghana and the Director of Finance of the Abzu Resources in Canada.
John was the Senior Accountant and the head of Accounts Department at CWA Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of Costain West Africa Plc, Nigeria, and reported directly to the Managing Director in Ghana and the Director of Finance in Nigeria.
John offers voluntary services as an Officer of the Boys’ Brigade Ghana and the Chairperson of the Finance Committee of the Abeka District of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
